Dear Birthmother,
 
The gifts of life, love and family are the most precious gifts of all. By making the decision to follow the selfless path you are on, these are the very gifts that you are giving to your baby as well as to a loving couple who could not make their dreams come true without you.
   
Vin and I have been happily married since 1993 and live in New York. We are both attorneys and I actually met Vin during my first trial. My client and I both came out winners--I met the man with whom I will spend the rest of my life. We always wanted a child and are looking at adoption as a way of making our most cherished dream come true.

We live in a three bedroom ranch style house with a wonderful backyard in a suburban area which we share with our pet, Danny. We can just envision enjoying many happy times with our child! Fun images come to mind with the first winter’s snow of making snow angels and building a snowman. We pride ourselves in having a loving and stable home. We enjoy working together on our home. We actually built our own gazebo. We can just picture our child peeking out of the gazebo!   

Vin loves gardening, working on his 1955 Cadillac and carpentry. I enjoy doing crafts, gardening, cooking, and working on our home with Vin. I love baking for my nieces and nephews and enjoy baking for their birthdays. They can always count on Aunt Debbie to make their birthdays so special. Together we enjoy taking walks and spending time with our family. During the summer, we love traveling, spending time at the shore and going to fairs. The only thing that will make these times more special is to be able to share them with our child.  
     
We both come from close knit families so our family plays an important role in our lives. We enjoy spending time with our nieces and nephews and have been picked to be godparents many times. Our child will be surrounded by loving aunts, uncles, cousins and of course a doting grandmother. Family and education are very important. We will teach these values to our child as we do with our nieces and nephews. We are both Catholic and will raise our child in the Catholic faith. We will nurture our child by providing a strong foundation built on love, a strong sense of family, education and stability.

I can not picture a more loving, caring, and wonderful father than Vin. I cannot tell you how my heart swells seeing how he is so loved, trusted and respected by our nieces and nephews. Vin is always so thoughtful and involved where they are concerned. He is always there for our nieces and nephews, and he truly enjoys spending time with them. You can see the love and pride he feels for them by just looking at him. Any child would be so loved and most fortunate to have Vin as their father.  
  
From when I first met Debbie, I was impressed with her caring nature. I was especially struck by the way she relates to the kids in our lives. She has a natural ability to hold a kid’s attention, mend feelings and stop tears. Whether it is helping with schoolwork or overcoming a problem, she will give it her all. Debbie has a quiet, giving nature that shines in her work and in life which has resulted in her having a lot of good friends. Her devotion to her family and friends has never faltered. She will be an excellent mom who will do everything to make the life of our child wonderful in every way. I cannot image a more loved child!

It means so much to us that you are considering us as the parents for your child. We promise to love your baby with all of our hearts and to provide a loving, stable, secure and family oriented life. Having a child to love will make our family complete.
